The Museum Of Bad Art (MOBA) is the world's only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms. The pieces in the MOBA collection range from the work of talented artists that have gone awry to works of exuberant, although crude, execution by artists barely in control of the brush. What they all have in common is a special quality that sets them apart in one way or another from the merely incompetent. While MOBA does have brick and mortar galleries to display the art in the Boston area, a good chunk of the collection is available online, with notes provided by the curators, and sometimes the artists themselves. It may not compare to seeing the art in person, but if you can't make it to Boston, this may be the next best thing.
