Friends of the Atlee Library Book Sale
Friday October 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (open to the general public)
Hardcover books, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, and books on tape are $1.00. Paperback books are fifty cents. Buy a Friends’ bag for only $10.00 and fill it to the brim for FREE! You can also bring non-perishable food items to the sale to donate and receive up to $5.00 credit per family.
Raffle tickets for a charming hand-sculpted, hand-painted folk art Father Christmas, made and kindly donated to the Friends by member Elizabeth Britton, can be purchased at the book sale or by calling Betty Johnston at 746-5036. Father Christmas is currently on display at the library. The drawing for the winner will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday October 8. You do not have to be present to win.
