Anatomy of a Trial
Monday September 21 at 7:00 p.m.
Jerrianne Hayslett, author of Anatomy of a Trial, will discuss media coverage of several high-profile trials and how that kind of coverage influences people's perception and understanding of the judicial system and the news media. Ms. Hayslett was a media liaison with the Los Angeles County court system during the 1990s, which included the trials of Heidi Fleiss, O.J. Simpson, and the Menedez Brothers, to name a few.
Refreshments served. Sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Library.
