October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month


For the third time through a generous donation by the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation, the library was able to purchase 14 new titles related to breast cancer. You can find these titles by searching for "breast cancer" in our library catalog at http://www.pamcat.org/. Pictures of previous donations and branch displays can be found here. Meet Local Author, Emyl Jenkins
Tuesday October 9 at 7:00 pm


Emyl Jenkins will discuss her critically praised mystery novel, Stealing with Style. Ms. Jenkins has written 13 nonfiction books, but this is her first work of fiction. This free program is open to the public. As an extra treat to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the library, a drawing will take place to pick a winner to receive an autographed copy of Stealing with Style.


Refreshments from Jenkins’s cookbook, From Store Bought to Homemade, will be served.
